出生証明書の取得先
通常は出生を登録した市町村、パンチャーヤト、州、CRSが管理します。現在の住所ではなく古い控えにある登録地を基準にします。

The birth record is not found
Check the registrar and spelling first. Older records may remain with a local office and may need manual search or digitisation before an online certificate becomes available.
The portal asks for a registration number
Look on an older certificate, hospital acknowledgement or registrar receipt. A name-only search is not available on every portal because civil records contain sensitive information.
The certificate has an error
Do not edit the PDF. Use the authority's correction service and supporting evidence process so the registrar can issue an amended record.
Check the downloaded birth certificate
Keep the original PDF generated by the registrar rather than relying on a screenshot. Confirm the child's registered name, date and place of birth, parents' names, registration number and issuing local body. If the file includes a digital signature, QR code or verification reference, preserve it when printing or sharing the document. A school, passport office or other receiving organisation may ask for verification or a certified copy, so check its current requirement before a deadline.
